CEO
Pedro Gonzalez is the Founder of HazLab Environmental & Safety and a hazardous materials professional with over 15 years of experience in environmental safety, regulatory compliance, hazardous materials management, and laboratory chemical packing operations. His career includes extensive hands-on response to complex and high-risk hazardous materials incidents across laboratory, institutional, transportation, and industrial environments.
Throughout his experience, Pedro has responded to life-threatening chemical substance releases, DEA laboratory seizures, highway accidents involving hazardous materials, chemical reactions, concentrated chemical tank cleanouts, and environmental remediation incidents. These real-world operations required rapid hazard assessment, strict regulatory compliance, and coordinated response to protect personnel, facilities, and the surrounding environment.
At HazLab, Pedro leads operations with a strong emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, and responsible hazardous materials management, supporting laboratories, educational institutions, industrial facilities, and commercial organizations.
Marisol Gonzalez
Executive Director
Marisol Gonzalez is the Co-Founder of HazLab Environmental & Safety and leads the company’s administrative operations, client coordination, and internal organizational processes. She brings over 10 years of experience in human resources and administrative management, supporting business operations, staff coordination, and organizational efficiency.
At HazLab, Marisol oversees scheduling, project documentation, regulatory records management, and client communications to help ensure smooth and compliant service delivery. Her experience in administration and human resources supports the company’s commitment to professionalism, responsive service, and well-organized operations.
